hi, how are ya?

I’m Lucy!

I am originally from Denver, Colorado but now live in Charleston, South Carolina with my husband Drew, and our two kids, Benny and June! Benny just turned 2 and June is about 7 months. My family is the most important part of my life, and when you work with me, you are directly supporting my lil family!

When I was little and to this day, one of my most favorite activities is to look through old photo albums of my family. The instant wave of nostalgia I feel is what I want to create with my couples. Your grandkids will look through these photos one day, and that thought alone drives my desire to serve you and your story.

The idea behind Picking Daisies, comes from the idea of picking the beauty and goodness out in everything. I originally started my instagram page to showcase my friends that I thought deserved a little shoutout. I would take their photo and the caption would be my description on how that person had a positive impact on the world. After a year or so, a friend asked me to do their wedding. There’s nothing more positive then two humans proclaiming their love to each other for the whole world to hear. And getting to document that proclamation?! This is the best job in the world.

I have two kids, Benny and June! My little loves, the best part of Drew and I’s love for each other are these little kids. I am so inspired by families at weddings where there are big families that love each other so well. Our goal is to have at least 4 kids, for them to grow up knowing sacrifice, hard work, and a lot of love can get you anywhere in life!

Drew and I had our first son, born on October 4, 2023. He is my heart in human form and watching him grow has become my favorite thing ever.

My husband, Drew, is a firefighter and in the Army National Guard (infantry unit). We met at your classic dirty college bar and I fell for him instantly. He will have the best mustache you see all day. I love you, Drewski!

My favorite thing to do is go thrifting for artwork!  I love finding vintage pieces to put in my home to make it more eclectic and have more personality.
